Is it true that you may be organizing a White Pigeon Loft Race for 2012?
Yes, it's true! We are gathering data to find out whether enough people would be interested in participating in this event (complete the form at left if YOU are interested!). We will use state-of-the-art technology, security measures, and data web cams that will allow you to see your birds. Race results would be posted daily, and we will keep racers informed on the status of their birds.
We want to make this the most enjoyable event ever, so people will want to participate year after year. After doing considerable research on this subject, we realize that we must change the way other organizations handled some past races. We take honesty very seriously, and will do everything in our power to make this race exactly that: honest, with no exceptions to the rule.
Our goal is to promote this sport so that it can become as big in America as it is in Belgium, Holland, and other parts of the world. We definitely have the population in America to support this goal; we simply need to interest more people in this sport. For example, Belgium alone has more 350,000 pigeon fanciers and racers. The US, with a far greater population than Belgium, has only 20,000-30,000 pigeon fanciers and racers. Clearly, the potential for this sport to grow in America is beyond imagination!
How much will it cost to participate in this 2012 Loft Race?
The cost will be the following: $75.00 Perch Fee + $100.00 Entry Fee = $175.00 Total Per Bird.
($40,000.00) will be paid out based on 400 Birds entered!!
Our goal is to make this the most affordable of One loft Races. The cost will depend on how many participate. Ideally, we would like to involve approximately 400 birds. Those who have joined our team (Franchise) could enter 2 free birds, with additional entries paying the normal entrance fee.
We have received some very positive feedback from people who are seriously interested in our One Loft Race. People can say they have the best birds in the world, and although they may think this is true, it is the birds that show the results. Birds that win races consistently become valuable and highly sought after from business people around the world. It is not uncommon for a bird to sell at auction for $15,000-$30,000. Yes, you read that right!
People want the best birds with the best homing genes. Some colleagues of ours didn’t think twice about dropping $34,000 for one bird that was a proven champion in a high-dollar race overseas. Their return on that investment was that the offspring paid out 3 times that amount when they were entered in futurity races and won!
