Over the years we have developed some really powerful techniques in increasing our business, as well as demand for our birds that are used in the White Dove Release Industry. We have been asked so many times by our clients if we have ever thought about developing an Online Training Course for customers using videos and other media to teach what we know, and what has been the keys to our success so others can duplicate and be successful in the process.
After having given considerable thought towards this possiblility, I have decided that this is something that I would love to do considering my businesses made it through the 2008 recession while many other businesses closed their doors forever. While some may claim they have the latest shiny objects, others simply may advertise and giggle about their latest wireless gizmo release basket. Quite frankly, some things such as these really serve no purpose to the client, but rather only serve the interests and personal entertainment of the release handler. Some things in this industry really don't add ANY value to the industry at all, yet for some reason, people keep buying the same old used junk "Hoping" it will help their business grow. We can talk about this at a later date, but for now lets look at the following points below.
Point #1: If you really want to learn how to add value for your customers and your business, as well as build a legacy that will carry on, start thinking about the customers needs first. Once you achieve and can deliver what your customers want, the business will naturally grow as it should, granted, you do a good job with the opportunities that come your way the first time around. Remember, word of mouth can help you, but it also has the potential to hurt you if you arent careful in this industry.
Point #2:There are simple things that can be done by you for your clients that add massive value to the service you offer them, and no, it doesn't involve incorporating some useless wireless remote basket that you think is cool that your customer could rather care less about. Make no mistake: The word is already out, and feedback is coming around from customers of other businesses that have mentioned to us it added no value whatsoever to the ceremony, yet the handler claimed it was the best thing since Adam.....go figure, they are not in the know.
Point #3: It doesnt matter what you want, it only matters what the customer wants, and what you can provide to get them what they want.
Point #4: Listen to your customers. They will tell you what they want. After they tell you what they want, your job is to know whether you can provide what they are asking for. Don't try and do business with everyone. If you try and do business with everyone, you end up pleasing nobody.
Point #5: In this online course I will teach you all you need to know about these best practices we have implemented, and how to avoid the black sheep that are out in the industry. Some of these black sheep have chosen to practice what I call "Self Destruction". This comes in two different forms, the first being bad business practices, and second, trying to be the lowest price leader in the industry by trying to beat their competitors prices just to get the business. For those fools who participate in these actions, they soon will find out that they will drive their businesses literally out of business in due time. No business owner can continue to sustain their business for the long term if they are solely basing their competitive edge on price alone. We discourage the black sheep of the industry who are causing a lot of damage for other respectable businesses who actually care about creating "An Inspirational Experience" for their customers when the doves are released at weddings, funerals, and other of lifes memorable events.
I have known for many years that this industry can use a lot of help just based on what we have seen others doing, or better yet, other dove companies telling us about what is happening within their areas of service.
In an effort to lead this industry to a more professional level for everyone, I am going to build a complete online course that will add massive value to those interested in getting started in this wonderful White Dove Release Industry.
Before I create the course, however, I want to make sure that I really cover everything.
